Fox News has put Ohio into Trump’s column. It’s not official, but of all the outstanding states it seems the most certain.
If you’ve been nervous about Virginia, a flood of votes have been counted, officially putting Biden ahead — and making all the people who run AP’s projection model breathe a sigh of relief.
Before you break out the calculator, those mail-in ballots would represent a net 860,000 gain for Biden in Pennsylvania, assuming the independents split evenly.
Trump has moved ahead in NE-2.
Wisconsin still saying they expect to have unofficial results overnight. Michigan may not be in until Friday.
While the rest of the Upper Midwest is still in turmoil, it looks like Biden will hold onto Minnesota. In counties that are reporting < 70% in, Biden is running 2-3 points ahead of Clinton’s numbers from 2016. We’ve seen that happen in several states, only to have it fade away as Election Day votes crowded out early votes. However, in counties like Hennepin, where 94% are already in, Biden leads 70 to 27. Compare with 63 to 28 four years ago.
There are actually several counties in MN that are blue at the moment that were red last cycle. Unless there’s a big surprise hiding out there, Biden should keep this one.
CNN is also tipping Ohio to Trump. Still not an official call.
